Working with Mez was a pleasure.We hired him to paint our entire apartment before we moved in. He was extremely responsive to calls/texts and was straightforward with pricing. We gave him a deadline he needed to hit and he made sure he had the job done so we could move in on time. He is super knowledgable, handy, and trustworthy. He had a lot of great advice for us as first time homebuyers.

Mez was awesome. I hired Mez to pain my stairs/railings and he did a phenomenal job. He was able to FaceTime me (on a Sunday, no less!), provide a quote, and show up later that afternoon. Mez did great work and was a pleasure to work with! I had two rooms repainted, a kitchen and a foyer, and the work was done quickly but with a high standard of quality. Despite having bought high quality "cover all" paint, one of my rooms had the most hideous and bright red paint and Mez did a beautiful job covering it with the light blue I had picked out. He took the care to ensure the old paint did not show through at all--going above and beyond with an extra coat as needed--and was careful around the white trim I wanted to keep. In 12 years of living in NYC, I have dealt with my fair share of shady, flaky, and/or unreliable contractors (including a few of the highest rated painters on Yelp that I won't name, who never got me an estimate despite several days of corresponding). NOT THE CASE WITH MEZ!! From the beginning, Mez was AMAZING. Mez was quick to respond to my online quote request, and was at my apartment the next day for an estimate.

I rarely post reviews, but I had such an extraordinary experience with Mez Diamond and his team that I felt I had to speak out. I was moving into a 1936 Brooklyn Heights apartment with loads of beautiful period detail -- a foyer, 14-foot ceilings, arched doorways, original crown molding, and stunning original hardwood floors that needed to be well protected. So I needed an expert painter with both an exceptional artistic sensibility and the reliability and dependability to get the job done on time for my move-in, and without damaging anything or annoying my new neighbors. From the moment I spoke with Mez on the phone, his passion for paint and for quality work was immediately clear, and even from that auspicious start he exceeded my high standards and expectations. Not only was his bid fair and clear with no hidden costs, but he was polite, clear, warm, efficient and well prepared, and was a great collaborator on handling some of the trickier painting challenges that the apartment presented. He noticed the tiniest things -- that two of the doors lacked door stops, that one one of the windows needed handles -- and after checking with me, he bought and replaced them. He communicated with me daily about the progress of the job, encouraged my feedback, and completed the job on time and on budget. Above all, the work is breathtaking. Every edge is razor sharp, every surface flawless. It's stunning. Plus, he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever have the pleasure of working with. We moved to an apartment right after the previous tenant had to move out and got a great deal – first month half off, and no renovation. That was the catch –with all the paintings and decorations the apartment was charming. When we moved in we got a great apartment with lots of holes in the walls, scruffs and scratches everywhere. Quick search gave us NYC Painting Contractors and glad I am we picked them! We fell in love with the apartment all over again! They did a really great job, the walls look flawless with the colors we picked together with the team.

I wish I had known about Broadway Painters before. After too much time spent on pinterest I decided to spruce up our bedroom by adding repainting and a contrast wall. What followed - frustration, mess everywhere, wasted long weekend, screwed baseboards… So I gave up and decided to relegate the job to the professionals. I called 212-257-0090 and arranged for an appointment with Mez. He used the leftover paint, sanded and primed the walls and I got a good lesson. Very pleased with the job and would recommend these guys to anyone.
